"InterCulture is truly a marriage of the non-profit’s heart to the for-profit’s "skill set". This combination not only makes InterCulture unique but also more likely to be successful in accomplishing it’s objectives."
To that end InterCulture has assembled a rare group of individuals with the knowledge, expertise and tools needed to bridge between competing mindsets. These core disciplines include education, marketing, media, technology, production and distribution, that, married with powerful strategic partnerships, enable InterCulture to offer unique, customized and comprehensive solutions.
MISSION STATEMENT
InterCulture (IC) assists societies globally to develop the means to connect with one another through the development and demonstration of communication skills embodying the latest, state-of-the-art, media technology.
IC teaches them to produce media content suitable to all platforms – television, the internet, video and hand-held devices – and help them distribute it both locally and globally. Such content will produce economic, social, political and even cultural change in ways that sustain order, avoid conflict and promote active partnerships between citizens and governments.
BUSINESS STRATEGY
InterCulture’s business strategy is to be a "facilitator": to provide the tools needed by governments, corporations, foundations and civic societal organizations to solve their largest problems. By minimizing fixed costs and hiring the requisite talent on a variable cost basis, IC can respond quickly to take advantage of opportunities when they arise.
Taking advantage of contacts developed by their consultants over the years in the areas of public policy, technology development and transfer, and politics – both in the US and around the world – IC can muster the right people and create the proper infrastructure to achieve the client’s desired objectives.
BUSINESS MODEL
InterCulture sells governments, corporations and civil society organizations services and products, delivered by both consultants and strategic partners under contract with IC, on a "cost plus" basis to compensate IC for its problem-solving experience and expertise.
InterCulture.com donates 35% of net income after all compensation to the InterCulture Foundation each year - an amount roughly equal to IC’s net after-tax profits. The Foundation will make strategic gifts to other charitable organizations whose missions align themselves with that of IC.
InterCulture.com is managed by a Chairman/CEO, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer. InterCulture Foundation is guided by a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer.
